So far spring has been a season for editing for me with a little time off woven in as well so I haven’t updated the site in a while. But I just wanted to throw out a quick announcement about the free promotion currently running for Into the Vast.
The book is getting a lot of downloads so far which is always great to see. In fact it’s currently #1 in Teen Sci-fi and #2 in High-Tech Sci-fi.
I’m calling it the “Primavera Giveaway” for no particular reason other than it happens to be Spring and that I love that word. From primus ‘first, earliest’ + ver ‘spring’. It just seems so much more monumental of a word than simply “Spring”, as if great events were about to unfold. And hopefully the giveaway will be a great event for the readers who pick up the book. Spring and Summer are great times to read and I hope folks will find a way to work the novel into their upcoming slate of books.
